I had read some good things about red rice yeast, and thought I'd see if it made an impact for me. The result was dramatic - my total cholestrol went from about 200 to 140. My doctor was very pleased, but she did some resarch on which brands performed well for consistent potency as well not having risk of carcinogens. This was on the list of the top 6 recommended red rice supplements, and the doctor endorsed this one for ease of use (take one per day).
